The Children's Ministries of New Song Church are committed to helping families connect to God, others, and the world. All children from birth through age 11 are invited to participate in a variety of ministry opportunities and learn more about God. We offer fun and engaging activities designed to show kids at every stage how important our relationship with God is to our everyday lives.

The First Act: Birth through Kindergarten
Beginning with nursery, we realize this is often the first place a baby is cared for outside the home. We seek to provide a clean and safe environment where you can trust that your infant will experience our care for them through loving and capable volunteers. Through the toddler and preschool years, it is our goal to reinforce three main truths through real activities that engage the five senses.
- God made me.
- God loves me.
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
It is never too early for children to experience authentic worship. Our First Act leaders engage kids with animated Bible story time, hands on crafts and games and songs they can remember. We teach one “bottom line” all month long that reinforces the three main truths. |
Sound Stage: 6-11 year olds
Our goal in the elementary years is to support and reinforce the Biblical values you are teaching your kids at home. We follow an 18 month rotation of virtue-based, Biblically-driven teaching designed to help kids learn to apply the following three truths:
- I need to put God first no matter what.
- I need to treat others the way I want to be treated.
- I need to make the wise choice.
Through relevant small group time, large group worship, games, activities and discussions, kids will continue to learn that character, both God's and our own, matters and that God is good and can be trusted all the time! Center Stage:
For Your Family...
Families experience real worship together during L.I.F.T., also known as Live Interactive Family Theater. L.I.F.T. is an awesome time of fun, music, live drama and entertainment designed to teach the whole family a life-altering message they can take home and apply to their lives. L.I.F.T. is a great event to invite your friends and neighbors to as an introduction to New Song. This event happens Friday nights at 6:30 several times through the school year. |
For Your Kids...
New Song offers two programs for kids who have recently asked Jesus to be their forever friend. They are age-appropriate small group environments to help kids grow and understand what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. First Step is for kids age 5-7 and Step Up is for kids 8-11. These opportunities are offered several times during the school year |
For Everyone...
Our families are reaching others by inviting their friends and neighbors to church. We also have four outreach events each year, each in their own season; Spring In, Summer Slam, Fall Out and Winter Blast. All of them are family friendly events like movies, camps, picnics and sports teams where you can invite the whole neighborhood to come along.
Kids in the third grade or above can serve with adult volunteers in our nursery, toddler, check-in and tech teams. From rocking babies to directing productions, there is a position for you on the Kid Song team!
